U-Links Centre for Community-Based Research

Description (Service) The U-Links Centre for Community-Based Research delivers the Community-Based Education Program. Students are matched with community organizations in the Haliburton area to assist them with research, planning and community development projects. While earning course credit students are able to gain practical experience in their field of study and help to solve current challenges in the community. Organizations and businesses with research needs can contact U-Links to discuss their ideas and receive a Research Proposal Form. Research done through U-Links is expected to expand knowledge about or contribute to social, cultural, environmental or economic development in Haliburton County.
