Description (Service) | COVID19: The administrative office on North Shore Road, Trails Office and Airport Terminal Building remain closed to the public until further notice. Staff who are able to work remotely have been instructed to do so. Offers many water trails and hiking trails for countless opportunities to canoe, camp, hike, snowshoe, ski, snowmobile, ATV, fish, hunt, cottage or just relax and take in the scenery. Manages over 38 km of hiking trails, 26 km of Nordic ski trails, hundreds of campsites, portages, area lakes and canoe routes. Preserves, protects and promotes outdoor and natural recreational opportunities through a proactive, sustainable management approach. In partnership with all stakeholders including the Townships of Lake of Bays, Minden Hills, the County of Haliburton and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
