|Description (Service)||COVID19 Seeing some patients in office and the remainder via OTN.
Assessment and treatment of swallowing difficulties in pre-school children and adults (in-patient and out-patients). Treat a variety of neurogenic swallowing issues.
For children (0-5) - assessment and treatment of all speech and language disorders (receptive and expressive language, articulation, motor speech, stuttering, social skills, and swallowing).
|Hours||Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm|
|Eligibility||Adult services are for dysphagia (swallowing) voice and fluency disorders only. SLP department no longer accepts out-patient adult clients with communication (speech-language) disorders following a CVA. This population are serviced by the community stroke team.|
|Application||All adults need a medical referral from Goderich physician. For children call Small Talk for appointment and referral 1-866-333-7716|
