Gravenhurst Fire Department

Description (Service) Fire Department services the Town of Gravenhurst and in addition provides Mutual Aid Assistance to the Town of Bracebridge, Township of Muskoka Lakes and Severn Township. 
The department responds to fires of all sizes, various types of rescues, car accidents and weather related emergencies. The department operates from three stations with approximately 56 volunteers. 
Station 1 - 190 Harvie Street, Unit 1, downtown Gravenhurst 
Station 2 - 1030 Kilworthy Road, Hwy 11 and Kilworthy Road 
Station 3 - 1622 Barkway Road, between Barkway and Housey's Road 
9-1-1 lines and Emergency Line are answered at the Orillia Fire Department Dispatch. The dispatcher will take the call information, call out to the appropriate station and firefighters using the paging system and then handle all radio transmissions until the incident has been resolved.

Public Comments Gravenhurst residents who can’t afford smoke or Carbon Monoxide alarms are asked to call the fire department at 705-687-3414 to arrange for a free home visit or drop in to the station
