| Description (Service) | The Ontario Community Emergency Assistance Program (OCEAP) provides recruiting, training and deploying volunteers when requested by emergency services such as police, fire or ems.

| Eligibility | Volunteers: Minimum 19 years of age
Vulnerable sector screening clearance Class G drivers license and reliable vehicle Capable of responding to Port Hope or Cobourg within 90 minutes of an emergency call Standard First Aid and CPR level C Ability to work in a paramilitary command structure Dedicate the time to respond to call outs, training and events [ 6-8 hours per month] Members must purchase their own uniform and kit within their first year [ approx. $300 ] |
