Description (Service) | The Ontario Community Emergency Assistance Program (OCEAP) provides recruiting, training and deploying volunteers when requested by emergency services such as police, fire or ems.

Eligibility | Volunteers: Minimum 19 years of age
Vulnerable sector screening clearance Class G drivers license and reliable vehicle Standard First Aid and CPR level C Ability to work in a paramilitary command structure Dedicate the time to respond to call outs, training and events [ 50-70 hours per year] Members must purchase their own uniform and kit within their first year [ approx. $300 ] |
Application | Contact local emergency services or dial 911. OCEAP can only be deployed through police, fire or EMS. Teams can be activated on a 7/24/365 basis |
