Description (Service)

Visiting program every Thursday morning (specific day subject to change, please call office to confirm) that offers :

counselling, advocacy and support
discharge planning/reintegration planning
drug treatment options
government services
financial service
housing basic needs
clients are referred to local organizations and agencies
worker assists with filling out applications, scheduling appointments, follow up release appointments and information about the criminal justice system

Anger management group offered monthly to incarcerated individuals on Thursdays afternoons. There are three group sessions to allow individuals to start addressing and understanding their anger, gain an assessment of their personal anger and develop healthy responses to anger in the home, work, and community.

HOPE Kits provided to aid individuals upon release from Stratford jail to ensure a safe and successful return to the community, who may otherwise face homelessness.
