Individual Counselling

Provides young people and their family an opportunity to meet privately with a Counsellor to talk about what brought them to our agency and explore possible solutions.

• sessions may include art, games or music and
• usually one hour long once per week or every other week
• duration depends on the needs or time required to meet ones goals

Issues that might lead to reaching out for help include:

• bullying or teasing
• peer pressure
• conflict with parents
• separation and divorce
• loss of someone you love
• depression, anger or sadness
• suicidal thoughts or behaviour
• poor self image
• anxiety and worry
• gender and identity
• eating disorders
• questions or concerns about drugs or alcohol
• sexuality
• relationships
