Description (Service) | Supports health and wellbeing of seniors, adults with physical challenges, caregivers and communities in the County of Peterborough. This office provides central administration and volunteer development for the eight Community Care branches located in Apsley, Buckhorn, Chemung, Havelock, Lakefield, Millbrook, Norwood and Peterborough. Services include: blood pressure clinic * brokered home help and maintenance * Caremobile * Diner’s Club * social drop-in program * exercise and falls prevention classes * fitness classes and wellness programs * foot clinic * friendly visiting * information and referral * intergenerational programs * Meals on Wheels * medical equipment program * personal distress alarms * reassurance checks * shopping buddy * transportation |
