Description (Service)

Provides shelter, education and transitional supports for youth and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless

Operates a 30-bed emergency and transitional shelter for youth ages 16-24 and emergency housing for homeless families with children of any age
Shelter workers also assist in accessing emergency resources, housing search, income supports and other related youth needs
Operates a Food Cupboard for youth living independently and for families who have previously resided at the shelter
provides monthly access to a food box and clothing cupboard

Eligibility	Services for homeless families: no age restrictions. Family is defined as anyone with legal custody of a child Food Cupboard: youth ages 16-24 living independently or families who have resided at the shelter in the past year. Will collect demographic information at initial visit 16 year(s) - 24 year(s);
