Description

Description (Service) Peterborough Social Services can help connect individuals with supports including Ontario Works, Child Care, Housing, Food and other community services.
  • Staff member will screen individuals for all programs
  • Offers community referrals
  • Once application is granted, individuals are referred to a caseworker. Together a plan is created to find ways to move forward with personal goals
  • Ontario Works clients who need case information can access it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using:

Eligibility Any unemployed or low income resident may apply regardless of citizenship or length of residence
Application Financial Assistance through Ontario Works (includes Ontario Works, Emergency Assistance or Temporary Care) Visit our website for information on all the programs we offer. People residing in Peterborough city or county can apply for:
