| Description (Service) | Provides opportunity to participate in community enhancement activities. Open to anyone who wants to make a difference in the community Raises funds for community betterment including the Powassan Lions pool and the Powassan Lions ball park. The Lions operate the South Himsworth Centre Hall as a Lions Den and administers the rental and general maintenance of the hall for community use. Assists people in need of glasses or financial support following fire or other disasters. Provides Christmas Baskets and presents to those in need (see separate program record for details). |
