Description (Service)

24-hour support to adults with developmental disabilities. Homes are cooperative living environments with individualized support to learn the necessary skills to live a more independent lifestyle and fully participate in the community.

Services include:

general household management and domestic skills
recreational activities and hobbies
proper food preparation, storage and handling
basic self-care and personal hygiene, proper use of medication
money management
education of personal rights and self-advocacy skills
general life skills enhancement, communication and interpersonal skills

Community Supports include:

personal shopping
medical appointments
household grocery
shopping
recreational and leisure activities
banking
social activities
community travel

Specialized Programs Offered (under the direct supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist and/or Behaviour Communication Therapist):

individualized communication programs
physiotherapy
sensory integration
