Description

Description (Service) Offers people who have a developmental disability an opportunity to live as part of a family. The family and the person can experience the enrichment of sharing a home and lifestyle with each other, within the community of West Parry Sound.

Family Home Providers:
  • no professional qualifications necessary, but anyone wishing to provide support in their home must be a responsible, caring individual or family and successfully complete the screening and orientation
  • training provided
  • program serves people who may require a moderate level of support or have more challenging needs, but home providers receive on-going support, supervision and regularly scheduled respite from Community Living Parry Sound
  • excellent remuneration will be provided

Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Parry Sound District ; Parry Sound District - West (includes Dunchurch)
Eligibility Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) determines access to Community Living Parry Sound Lifeshare services. Determine eligibility status by contacting the DSO
