Service: Food Bank

Description (Service) COVID-19- Still operating however due to COVID-19 clients will not be permitted to enter the building. There is now a drive thru hamper pick up, clients are to stay in cars at all times and will be directed by volunteers upon arrival. Clients who are walking will continue to line up at Door A, six feet apart. 
Provides three to five days worth of emergency food supplies to individuals in need
Service Details
Hours Wed 11:30 am -12:30 pm, Thu 6:30 pm-7:30 pm * first come, first served * appointments can be arranged on an emergency basis
Areas Served Shelburne - and surrounding area ; Clients from Dundalk and Orangeville are encouraged to access the Food Banks in their own community
Eligibility Uses a financial checklist to ensure the applicant is eligible for assistance * Individuals must sign a consent form which allows the food bank, if necessary, to ensure the request has not been duplicated in another community
Application Visit during food bank hours * for urgent request, call and leave a message to arrange an appointment
