Description (Service) Classes in Communications (reading, writing and speaking in English), Mathematics, Computers, Biology, Chemistry, and Strategies for College and Work (self-awareness skills) as well as other essential skills to prepare adults for college, apprenticeship, the workplace or increased independence. Courses may be taken for one or more of the following reasons: 
* As prerequisites for post-secondary college programs or apprenticeship training 
* To fulfil the requirements for the Academic and Career Entrance Certificate  
* The Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development-certified equivalent to the OSSD 
* To regain or further develop skills that will lead to success in college and apprenticeship 
* To work on developing individual skills for improved ability to find and keep employment or volunteer positions 
* To gain skills for independence

Hours Sep-June:  
Day Classes: Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 12:30 pm-2:30 pm  
Evening Classes: Tue, Thu 6 pm-8 pm * Wed 5:30 pm-8:30 pm  
Campus Operations: Mon-Thu 8:30 am-7 pm, Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm  
Day Classes: Tue-Fri 9 am-2:30 pm  
Evening Class: Tue, Thu 6 pm-8 pm  
Campus Operations: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Call to confirm evening schedule.

* Residents of Ontario * special emphasis given to individuals receiving social assistance through Ontario Works or who do not have their Grade 12 diploma * Students aged 17 or 18 can be considered on an exception basis
