Description

Description (Service) Active with community programs that have an emphasis on youth
  • Sponsor an Exchange Student Program, Camp Enterprise (where students attend a vocational program at Trent University), and sponsor CPR programs at the local high school
  • Sponsor Junior Achievement program, Economics of Staying in School, at local elementary school for grade 7 & 8 students
  • Provide winter clothing for children, and support minor hockey, soccer, and figure skating
  • Involved in events such as Applefest
  • Internationally, the Rotary is involved in disaster relief and various other self help programs throughout the world. incl the elimination of polio
  • Assistance to those in need on a case by case basis - submit a letter with your requirements - will be reviewed on an individual basis.
