Description (Service)

Offers services to children in licensed home and centre-based programs, recognized recreation programs and Early ON Child & Family Centres

Consultants provide:

consultation based on the principles and practices in Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years, How Does Learning Happen?
information and strategy to maximize the physical environment in support of children
professional development and information sharing in centre staff meetings
workshops for educators and families
modelling and coaching of recommendations and strategies
support with individualized planning and strategy in order to facilitate the child's optimal development and participation
coordination of services with other agencies, including referral
support in completing applications for centre staff funding after our Consultants have observed, assessed and provided resources
assistance to families to complete applications
transition planning from the home to childcare and/or school
advocacy for child and family

Hours	Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
