Description (Service) COVID-19 All in person Service Canada Centres are closed to the public until further notice * clients can apply for critical services online * personal service support for EI and pension applications are available through e-service online and on mobile phones

Assists persons with disabilities to prepare for, obtain and maintain employment. * supports persons with disabilities in overcoming barriers to participation in the Canadian labour market, and supports employers to hire persons with disabilities Programs and services include job search supports, pre-employability services, wage subsidies, work placements and employer awareness initiatives to encourage employers to hire persons with disabilities * delivered across the country by Service Canada Centres, in partnership with organizations in the community

Eligibility Person with a disability who wants to start a business, or an employer who would like to hire someone with a disability 
Eligible employers include: not-for-profit organizations, municipal governments, aboriginal organizations (including band councils, tribal councils and self-government entities), for-profit organizations and provincial and territorial governments, institutions, agencies and Crown Corporations 
Eligible participants must: (participants are recruited by the contribution recipients) self-identify as having a permanent physical or mental disability that restricts his or her ability to perform daily activities, be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial and federal legislation and regulations, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada, not be eligible for assistance under Employment Insurance (EI) employment benefits or any similar programs that are the subject of agreements with provinces, territories, or organizations entered into pursuant to Section 63 of the EI Act (unless approved by a departmental official) and require assistance to prepare for, obtain and keep employment or self-employment
