Description (Service) COVID-19 Response
  • office is open to clients with scheduled on site appointments only
  • Services are being provided via phone, telemedicine and on site for booked spirometry testing only
  • Group programs are being provided via telemedicine
Regular Service
Respiratory Educator may conduct spirometry and provide education regarding:
  • smoking cessation, basic pathophysiology of Asthma and/or COPD, inhaler technique and tools for monitoring disease (Peak Flow Monitor, Asthma Diary), symptomatic relief strategies, allergies and environment control and other community resources available
  • helps patients develop individualized action plans and goals to self-manage their chronic lung condition
  • delivered by a Registered Nurse with additional certifications in respiratory health and a specialized interest in the management of Asthma and COPD

  • Referral from a Family Health Team Physician or Nurse Practitioner
