Assist adults with physical disabilities and seniors with routine household activities such as light housekeeping (personal living space), household management tasks, meal preparation, laundry, and shopping

  • Community referrals and care coordination is available
  • Service is available Monday to Friday from 8 am-5 pm for a minimum of 1 hour visit, with a maximum of 4 hours per month
  • fee-for-service program that is funded by Ontario Health with a subsidized rate based on the client's income

Eligibility To be eligible for homemaking services you must meet the following requirements:
  • be an adult with a physical disability and/or a senior 55 years plus
  • be able to direct your own care
  • have a safe home environment
  • live within the Barrie and Area region
