Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response Due to the pandemic, the day programs are currently on hold until further notice. Regular Service Assists and supports individuals in gathering the necessary resources and developing personal skills and networks that will enable them to be a participating member of their home community through inclusion. Focus on community integration. Individual instruction/counselling in areas such as: * community awareness * basic cooking * first aid * fitness * developing budgets * peer pressure * relationship building * group sessions involving the Social Skills game and the Circles game are also implemented on a referral basis * identified need or interest, such as sexual abuse. Assist senior aged participants to integrate into community senior groups. |
