|Description (Service)||COVID-19 Response
COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP): for eligible residential electricity, natural gas and unit sub-meter provider (USMPs) customers who are having difficulty paying their utility bills due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Residential customers may be eligible for up to $750 in support towards their electricity and natural gas bills, and can apply for on-bill credits for both electricity and natural gas separately.
Customers who applied and received CEAP support prior to January 14, 2021 may apply again to be considered for the increased funding amount.
You must apply for CEAP through your utility or USMP. Contact your utility or USMP directly as each may have a unique approach for application in-take.
Customers will be credited on their utility account.

Assists individuals, couples and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to secure affordable permanent housing in Bruce County.
This fund may be able to provide emergency financial assistance for the following depending on funding availability:

|Eligibility||Ages: 16 year(s) and up
Canadian Citizen, Landed Immigrant or have Refugee Claimant Status and be living in Bruce County
Recipients of OW or ODSP as well as low income non-social assistance households are eligible to apply to this fund
Maximum after-tax household income:
1 - 2 person(s) less than $31,000
3 - 4 persons $31,001 - $39,000
5 - 6 persons $39,001 - $48,000
7 or more persons $48,001 - $52,000
Households living in rent-geared-to-income housing are only able to apply for assistance with utility arrears
All application funding requests will be assessed for their long term sustainability of permanent affordable housing. Funds will only be paid in advance, directly to vendors (ex landlords, utility companies and moving companies). Not able to reimburse applicants after expenses have already been paid for.
