Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response The Withdrawal Management Program remains open during the COVID-19 pandemic with some restrictions on clients seeking admission from outside the Grey and Bruce area * In additional COVID-19 precautions and Social Isolation/Distancing are in place for the program * Please contact an Intake/Program Worker at Extension 1 for the most current intake restriction and program modifications as these can change weekly Regular Service: Provides assistance with voluntary withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs to clients who are under the influence of these substances and/or in withdrawal or otherwise in crisis directly related to these substances * This care is provided in Withdrawal Management Centre on the site of the Addiction Treatment Services of Grey Bruce Health Services * Care may be provided with or without the aid of drug therapy and/or other medical interventions * Additional support such as discharge planning, referral to other addiction services and supports and early recovery education is provided Clients may be referred to the On-site Addiction Day Treatment Program, the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic, Concurrent Disorder Psychiatric Clinic for further treatment and support The WMS program can also provides safe housing and support in our supportive stabilization beds for clients attending the Addiction Day Treatment Program, waiting for another program or seeking a Relapse Prevention Stay |
