| Description (Service) | The In-Home Recreation Program matches a screened and trained volunteer or an Alzheimer Society staff member with a person living with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia for a period of 1 - 2 hours per week. Visits provide activities that support cognitive and social interaction for the person living with the disease while providing short periods of respite for the care partner. The program supports services to both the client and care partner. |
