The GTHS Food Fairy ensures that all kittens and cats in the building are fed. Other duties include:

|Commitment Length||Medium Term (4 months to 1 year) - A minimum commitment period of 6 months is required for all volunteer positions at the GTHS unless otherwise stated ; Unless otherwise noted, shifts are scheduled for a specific day and time, once a week.

|Training||Orientation ; Training is provided - Online, by email and in-person; reference materials are also provided to support training ; Training is required ; Scheduled training - At a mutually convenient date - likely from 6am until approximately 8am ; Training on the job - Shadowing and working alongside an experienced volunteer ; The GTHS onboarding process must be completed before a volunteer's first shift. Orientation and onboarding is conducted virtually / via email.|
|Transportation||Near public transit ; Car required ; Parking is available in the adjacent parking lot and along the roadside|

|Additional Requirements||No police check is required for this particular volunteer position, but is required for some others.|
